Salon Coordinator

Sport Clips Haircuts of West Haverstraw is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Full-time Salon Coordinator to join our team and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our salon. This position is perfect for a Cosmetology/Barber student or a stylist with a new license.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet clients with a warm and welcoming attitude, ensuring they have a positive experience from the moment they walk in.
• Answer phone calls and address client inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Check clients in/out and handle transactions.
• Open & Close shifts each day, including Open/Close tasks and daily deposits.
• Maintain retail displays and assist in retail sales by providing product knowledge and recommendations to clients.
• Monitor salon inventory & supplies and notify the Team Leader as needed.
• Complete Cleaning, Maintenance & Sanitation tasks including: vacuuming, cleaning stations, prepping stations and laundry.
• Assist in marketing efforts as needed by the Team Leader.
• Participate in Sport Clips training.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service, receptionist, front desk or salon coordination is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
• A friendly and professional demeanor with a passion for the beauty industry.
